Darlings!
My holiday was spectacular! I started with 11 sold-out shows at the Illusion Theater in Minneapolis. This was so special because we celebrated 25 years of Miss R’s holiday shows.
From the ruffles of my silver gown to “Silver Bells” on the saw, it was a silver anniversary to remember.
Then the Greyhound motored me to Rehoboth Beach, DE, to do more shows at the Blue Moon. I love the intimate setting in the “atrium” space with the shiny glass top. Folks enjoyed fine dining and my show between Christmas and New Year’s.
Then the end of the holiday month brought me to my friend Thomas’ annual New Year’s Eve party in fabulous LA. What a blast spending time getting to know some new friends and meeting his adorable twins!
But my holiday month was also marked by sadness in the loss of my cruise buddy and friend, Matt Yee. He lost his battle with cancer on Dec. 2. But even in the midst of dealing with chronic illness, Matt approached it with a spirit of optimism, transparency and joy that was both courageous and inspiring. He’ll be missed by many and never replaced!
And I promise that we’ll be celebrating his memory on the Atlantis Events cruises in January and March!
I’ll also be heading to Florida for my annual show at Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale on Sat, Feb. 17th. It’ll be one of the last times I get to do my “Bad Advice” show! And Sunshine Cathedral is one of my very favorite places to perform, as it is such a beautiful and professional art space!
Hope you make 2024 a year of joy and peace and love and hope to see you on the road!
XO and one for Jesus!
Miss R
