So excited to be back in my trailer during the holidays! This year I’m sharing my 2025 show with a festive twist, “There’s A Pill For The Holidays” at the Illusion Theater in Minneapolis. I opened Friday night, Dec 5, and will be hitting the boards until Sun, Dec 21.
This tradition started in 1999 with my first holiday show, “Fall On Your Knees.” And now I’m celebrating 27 years of holiday fun, while the Illusion Theater celebrates 50 years in the arts! That is an amazing accomplishment for a non-profit theater company to keep the doors open and the creative juices flowing for 5 decades. Send the Illusion Theater a congratulatory gift this season, if you’re able!
With all that in mind, I had Wayne, my fabulous costumer, make a golden outfit for a golden anniversary. And if you look closely, you’ll see Baby Jesus in my hair, which I included in one of my musical numbers.
I’m soaking up as much home time as I can because right after the holidays, I’ll be traveling with Atlantis Events to Tahiti on Dec 28 aboard the stunning Oceania Riviera. I hear that is one long bus ride!
And I’ll be boat-hopping for most of January and February too! I’ll on the Tropical America Cruise on Virgin’s Brilliant Lady Jan 15, for 6 countries and 11 nights! Then I’ll board the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas Feb 1, along with 6,000 of my closest friends!
Then in the middle of it all, I get to make my annual pilgrimage to Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale on Fri, Jan 30, to do “There’s A Pill For That” at 7:30 pm. This is truly a highlight of every year, as I reconnect with my south Florida fans!
Until then, I’m sending wishes for love and peace and joy for this holiday season!
