Hello to all my darling prairie dogs!

I can scarcely believe this is me! Look at the focus, the control, the smooth underarms! That’s me pitching on the field in a kickball game to raise money for Helping Our Women, also known as HOW!

At first I was tickled to think I was making money for the Indians, until this rather irritated gal in practical shoes informed me that this was not an Indian charity at all.

So no free cheese! I was furious! But I stayed to be polite and found out that this is an amazing organization that does wonderful work helping our gals who are under the weather with cancer and other unsightly conditions.

And although the organization is amazing, my team was NOT! Good heavens it’s kickball. You’d have thought we were splitting the atom! 1) large red ball. 2) kick. 3) run. Next time I’m bringing 3X5 cards for notes.

So we helped some gal with cancer get a ride to the doctor. But WE lost! We’re the victims! What about us?!?
