Hello to all my darling prairie dogs!
I’m head over heels again for another few weeks while I tour the Orient! I’m off with Atlantis Events on the lovely Azmara Quest! We start out in Shanghai and about 3 weeks later, we’re somewhere else.
Although I do my best to understand and not complain, I do wonder how people live their whole lives upside down!
The last time I did this tour, it was an odd feeling. No matter where I got off the boat – Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, or Singapore – it was like the same 12 people were standing on the pier and following me through town.
This was a freaky feeling to be sure, and a bit disappointing because I wanted to meet more than 12 new Oriental friends. But they certainly were a friendly bunch.
The back rub people were the most friendly. I went to get rubbed with Shann Carr, Lindsey Ally and my DC friend Ralph – yes, his name is Ralph!
The first thing they did was to put us into tiny robes in tiny rooms, followed by a tiny gal who mumbled something to me in Mexican and then proceeded to jump me! It was like rice on white!
Before I knew it, she was walking on my back – or it could have been a slow jog, who knows?!? As I craned my neck back to see what the heck was going on, and to see if this was something I was going to need to talk to my pastor about when I returned home – that’s when I saw a foot on my shoulder.
Yes, a human foot! I can’t tell you how comforting it was to realize it was mine! Whew, that could have gotten weird fast!
It was inexpensive, which was good because I had to buy one more plate of chow mein before I left later that day!
Hope you all enjoy spring! I’ll be coming back to the United States cleaned and pressed!
XO and one for Jesus!
